Collaborating with visitBerlin: The Sustainable Berlin Best-Practice Guide 3.0

Following our ongoing collaboration with visitBerlin, TrainingAid developed the content and visual design for the comprehensive Best-Practice Guide Version 3.0 for the Sustainable Berlin Standard.

As sustainability transitions from a voluntary effort to an essential industry requirement, businesses across Berlin’s tourism, hospitality, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) sectors require structured, reliable guidance. The Best-Practice Guide serves as a strategic roadmap, helping businesses demystify complex sustainability management concepts and take concrete, measurable steps toward certification.

Breaking Down Complexity for the Berlin Tourism Industry

Translating complex frameworks—such as international ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria, the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, ISO standards, and legal compliance regulations—into practical daily routines for diverse tourism operators is a major challenge.

TrainingAid designed and structured the Best-Practice Guide to bridge this gap, creating a clear, anwenderfreundlich (user-friendly) tool tailored across 4 central sustainability pillars:
