Sustainable Tourism Training Program

Starting in 2016, TrainingAid led the development of the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Program, including:

• Updating and developing training content;
• Establishing processes for training development, trainer management and training delivery;
• Developing the new online course format;
• Executing the course delivery (both online and in-person), including collaborating with trainers and contributors, and facilitating participation of industry professionals from around the world.

The program started with a few groups a year to regularly scheduled cohorts year-round, with 30-60 participants per group. Over the years, the program served over 4500 professionals from around the world, who not only deepened their understanding of good practices in sustainable tourism, but also found new ideas, inspirations and connections to help improve their own practices.
