The clock is ticking: On September 27, 2026, the transition period for the EU directive "Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition" (EmpCo) ends. Vague environmental claims such as "sustainable," "eco-friendly," or "climate-neutral" without clear evidence will then no longer be permissible and carry significant legal and reputational risks. Our practical online course prepares tourism stakeholders for this new era of sustainability communication.🗺️ The course, with compact and practical lessons, is open to all interested parties, covering various sectors from destination management to transport and accommodation, as well as gastronomy, leisure, and activities.🗣️ We offer versions for both international participants (language: English) and those in the DACH region (German). 📖 The course includes lessons on concrete steps to incorporating good practices into your own sustainability communication, and a workbook to help you along the way. 💻 In addition to the self-paced modules, all course participants will have access to regular "office hour" group sessions to shared questions, discuss opportunities and exchange ideas with each other. Group registration options, as well as tailored offers focused on different needs of service providers (e.g., accommodation, tour providers, etc.) and different thematic priorities, are also available upon request.
